Why Teach Badminton

Badminton is the 2nd most participated and it is fastest racquet sport the world. It's a fun sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages; kids can start playing as young as 5 years old, and as old as 98 years young.

Badminton is a non contact dual sport that can be enjoy by athletes, and can be a great sport for the not so athletes. Unlike traditional team sports such as basketball, or soccer where the non athlete kids doesn't have the opportunity to improve because they don't get to touch the ball; kids in badminton is allowed to hold a piece of equipment, and has the opportunity to practice to be successful at it.

Kids in badminton has no physical limitation, and can feel safe playing if it's taught properly.

Racquets:
Badminton racquets range any where from $1-$250; yeap, that's a big range. For P.E use, you can spend about $10-$20 on each racquet, if budget permits, buy 20 more racquets than the number of students you have in a P.E class.

Where do you get racquets for $1? At the dollar store !!!

High End Racquets If you're an intermediate or advance player and you would like to invest in a good racquet, look through our suppliers' list, find the item that you like, shoot me an email and I'll find a place that will beat that price for you. can@pemajors.org
Strings:
Buy a spool of strings so you can patch the racquet when the string snap.
